Another great shoot with the guys and girls from Fitness First. Today we had 8 people join us and had a great time shooting some images for them. All with one window and a main key light. Thanks for being so easy to work with guys. A.

DAY274 :: WINDOW?
It’s so nice not to have to use my face for this shot… i think this one is sooo much better. On the odd occasion when she poses for a shot, I end up getting a great one!

DAY259 :: ONE LIGHT
My shot for today was intended to use one light to light the subject and the background. It’s sounds easy, but getting mix and the balance right between two very different subjects can be challenging.
DAY253 :: SOME FLARE
I took this shot a bit further than i normally would. I had the Einstein as my main light, a DI866 behind me and another off the right to give the flare in the image.
DAY252 :: DARK PORTRAIT
I wanted a darker mood to this one. Still sticking to the Einstein and i love the results. I’ve also never had to go above 1/2 power on the light as yet.

I did this test just to see if there would be a difference in the quality and power of the Einstein in my Westcott 28″ softbox. The verdict… read on.

We all have our favourite places. Some people like malls, some like the park… i like alleyways… I feel my most comfortable shooting in not-so-well-known spaces and my clients love it.

PORTRAITURE :: AMZ ON LOCATION
For this shoot we tried to make as much use of the location as we could while keeping the focus on Amz. I used my Beauty-dish as the main light in all the images and i am very happy with the results.
