Illusionists and Mentalists are not my usual crowd, but I’ve got to tell you, I’ve not had so much fun on a shoot in a long time. To cut down on processing and production, I chose a very simple set for the shoot also I wanted the focus to be on the subject and what they were doing. The three guys have a Fringe Act coming up and wanted some interesting portraits to use as marketing collateral for the show… I jumped at the chance and here are some of the results…

I’ve been looking for a decent Man-Bag since I lost my Diesel bag a few years ago and trust me it’s not as easy as it sounds. There is a fine balance between girly and manly and very few manufacturers have made anything close to a bag designed just for a guy. I was doing a bit of browsing on international fashion sites and found HARDGRAFT. Their style and design philosophy grabbed me the moment i saw it.

The bag is made from premium leather with the most amazingly soft texture. The workmanship is top-notch and worth every cent.

The bag features a single pocket with zipped access from the back of the bag to keep valuables safe while in crowded streets.

A few well-placed design elements really finish this bag off nicely.

The bag has ample space for the average day-trip and can hold most of what you may need. I really like this bag and will be using it for a few years to come. If you are in the market for something unique and modern, look no further…

This is the second shoot I’ve done for Rusty and they just keep getting better. This time it was a family portrait taken in and around Glenelg with his beautiful daughter. We met up at a little place for a quick coffee and after a few supportive words (thank you so much) we headed out to the pier to capitalise on the beautiful weather. 

I had a great time with you guys and your kind words lifted my spirits and made me feel much better and clearer. For that i thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have a beautiful family and a stunning little one… i wish you all the best and can’t wait for the wedding in a few months.

There is nothing more special than the birth of a baby and the little life as it starts to grow and learn. Having had my own little one, i know the feeling when it comes down to having a newborn. Shaun and Annie were kind enough to have me take a few images of their now +1 family and i loved every second of it. We did attempt to have the little one fall asleep but it was not meant to be (;-) so we did the best we could with a very active little baby.

Thank you for your hospitality and having me as part of your experience. I wish you all the best and I hope that your little one will have all the love and success the world has to offer for the rest of her life.

Well, I think it’s safe to say that I felt much smarter after being at this conference. Being a fly on the wall while some of the most influential people in the world give a conference on Health in all Policies will change your whole view on the current health system and just how hard it is to balance and deliver a service to even the most rural of communities.

It was good to see just how much effort and planning is going into the South Australian Health system going into 2020.

Yeah, i’m not really sure what this is, but it photographed beautifully. Just one of 60 other products that Instrument Choice needed for their Digital Asset Library. They were even kind enough to let me totally destroy their boardroom so I could fit my gear in… thanks guys. Between the rain’s endless teasing, and my love for cloudy skies… we had the perfect wedding setting for Bec and Ben Sawkins’s wedding. Held at the stunning Bridgewater Mill in the heart of the Adelaide hills… the setting cannot be described as anything short of spectacular… more images after the jump.

I had so much fun at Bec & Bens Wedding and their Magazine is the perfect end to the shoot. There were so many great images from the day that i had to do 8 extra pages just to get everything to fit in. Their wedding was held at the Bridgewater Mill in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. Ben and his awesome troop got dressed at The Retreat, and Bec and her gorgeous Bridesmaids got ready at The Stirling Hotel and his gave me a bit to work with.
