How much and what do i get?

Generally my pricing ranges from $210 up to $975 for most portraiture shoots, but i do suggest a quick chat on the phone or a face-to-face so i can give you a more accurate idea and send you the relevant info and pricing for your needs.

Your investment with me will get you 45min – 4hrs of my valuable creative time, my deepest and most intense post-production time to make sure your images are stunning as well as various other products depending on your chosen package.

What’s next and how should i/we prepare?

If you have decided to book me for your portrait session, the first thing to do is to give me a call or mail so we can get all the details figured out between us, like your location/s the people involved and if there are any special requests or time sensitive shots to take, as well as the creative vision for your unique shoot. Once we have had a chat and everything is set to go, i will require a $100 deposit to secure your shoot for which i will give you and invoice.

As far as preparation goes, remembering to just be “you” is the most important advice i can give any of my clients, regardless of the type of shoot we are doing. Don’t start going to the gym for 5 hours a day, don’t do anything radical to your face and please, no sun-beds… Just relax and try to picture the images you would like to get, try to put your vision into words and get them to me as soon as you can.

What happens after the shoot?

That is where the real magic happens once we have shot your new pics. I will download all the images from your session and go through each one with a fine tooth comb to get only the best images from the set. this is a subjective process based on my personal preferences and will result in a set of images i will then take further into my post-process.

As i work on the images, i will do colour correction, brightness, contrast, density and saturation as well as some “secret” methods. Photos are not retouched as a rule but can be done on a case-by-case basis. I can’t fix the weather, put a smile on your face or photoshop you into another background. If you wear glasses, i recommend removing the lenses prior to your shoot as this is a fixable but challenging problem for any photographer.

I will only deliver the best, most wow images to you and this takes time to get right. Depending on your shoot and the complexity of the edit, your images will be ready for viewing 5-10 days after your shoot.
